Is It Possible to Reverse Magnetic Damage to an IPod?
My 80GB classic met a magnet in my pocket on accident. (More powerful than a fridge magnet; we use these at Wal-mart to open security pegs.) I checked it out, and it would work, but not display photos, and no music would play. (My notes were still intact.) I hook it up to iTunes, restore it like it tells me to, and it goes into a recovery loop. I did a bit of research on the recovery loop (it's supposedly fixable), but was unable to find anything about magnetic damage. Is there hope for my baby?
