Carpet in a pub?
We are in the process of opening a pub. Our issue is on one side of the building is tile that is not very appealing so we want to remove it. We want to get it down to the concrete and do an acid stain like on the other side of the pub. The problem is that the tile is stuck to the concrete with glue that the machine we rented won't even get it up. This is in the bar area.
What are your thoughts on carpeting over the tile with a commercial carpet? We could have it scothguarded. I can put this carpet down for about 600 bucks and it would save a lot of time. We aren't too concerned with the carpet getting messed up because we will be putting down hardwood floors once we can afford it.
I guess if your not worried about the appearance, then put carpet down. Because I'm sure you know that carpet will get messed up quick.
